On March 15th the Gorky Restaurant held a jazz night hosted by Maria Tarasevich and Anna Balasheva with participation of Jann Parker, a New-York singer. The black diva used to work with the famous vibraphonist and band leader Lionel Hampton. Being a namesake of Charley Parker, Jann Parker does not break with traditions. She preserves the classic style in her singing. The audience appreciated her true to original performing style of such jazz melodies as Body and Soul, The autumn leaves and Summertime were delightedly greeted by the audience.
